Uptimeify vs. UptimeRobot

UptimeRobot gets you running in ten minutes. That is why everyone knows it, and it is a fair reason. But the moment you look after other people's websites under your own name, that quick start turns into a bill with open items. Here they are.

Uptimeify

For agencies and MSPs

  • Your logo on reports and status pages
  • Every client gets their own sub-account
  • Data stays in Germany, DPA included
  • Alerts only after cross-checks across several EU nodes
  • Everything in every plan, no add-ons
URUptimeRobot

For solo projects

  • Reports carry someone else's logo
  • One account for every client
  • No EU hosting
  • False alerts are the most common complaint
  • Seats, status pages and webhooks cost extra

As of July 2026. Information on UptimeRobot is based on publicly available sources and may change. Spotted something wrong? Tell us. At Uptimeify, on-call scheduling and acknowledgement/incident timeline are marked beta: usable, but not officially launched yet.

UptimeRobot is built for someone keeping an eye on a handful of their own sites. The free plan covers that, and it covers it well.

You look after client sites. That changes three things at once: since December 2024, the free plan is restricted by the terms of service to private, non-commercial use only. Reports and status pages go out carrying someone else's logo. And every false alert costs you more than sleep. It costs you credibility with your client.

That is where Uptimeify comes in: EU hosting, verified alerts, white-label. Without your price growing with every client you add.

Where Uptimeify comes out ahead

Three things the big players solve differently. And that we built for your agency.

  • One price. Every feature. UptimeRobot charges 15 to 19 USD per person per month for extra login seats, and full status pages and webhooks only start at the Team plan. With us, every plan includes everything: white-label, status pages, sub-accounts, API. The price you quote is the price you pay.

  • Unlimited sub-accounts, predictable margin. Every client gets an isolated sub-account with its own roles. Status pages run via CNAME on status.deinkunde.com, alerts through your own SMTP. Your portfolio grows, your plan stays put.

  • Alerts only when something is actually down. False positives are the most common complaint about UptimeRobot: users report more than 70 false alerts a day. We verify every suspected outage across multiple independent EU nodes before an incident opens. You decide how many consecutive failed checks it takes.

Where UptimeRobot wins

No tool wins everywhere. Three points where UptimeRobot is the better call.

  • More free monitors. 50 on the free plan at a 5-minute interval. Hard to beat for personal projects and hobby sites. Commercial use, though, is no longer permitted under the terms of service.

  • Name recognition. Large community, plenty of ready-made integrations, every question already asked and answered.

  • Dead simple start. Set up in minutes. If you only want to watch one or two of your own sites, you do not need more than that.
